Mission: Put Together (so far)
Uggggh so I just got off the phone with my doctor. The results from my MRI are in and big news! Not only a torn acl but a torn medial meniscus, wudeva that is. Next up: surgery!
Onto news that is more fun. Have you been participating in Mission: Put Together? It's super fun. I def feel pretty lame taking a selfie every day, but I love web communities, you know? Plus clothes are kind of fun if you think about it.

this is making me feel insecure about my wardrobe. i feel like i don't have enough clothes, or something. i wear sort of the same set of clothes each week..

I must say, the addition of the leg brace adds a certain je ne said quois to the entire ensemble. Like a cute clutch, or a nice pair of earings.
Same injury as me in 2001! Torn right ACL, torn medial meniscus. WoOt! We can be injury buddies.
The good news is (not just the cool scar) that you can recover pretty quickly. Just work on your right quadricep pre-op, and work on full extension post-op. And really, best of luck with all of this. I came through quite well. And if you have any other questions, my inbox is always open.
