Very? I AGREE.
I mean opening sequence there. The polaroid was the icing on the cake that is to come when you enter the site. WHY does EVERYBODY have spiky hair?
Okay check this picture. No, I can't even. Its just too ridiculous. I can't pick out one specific character (caricature?) to mock first. Angsty shy orange flame pants boy? The guy with aviators and wrist sweat bands? The person of ambiguous gender with the camera? There too much to mock here, I won't ruin it for you by typing my opinions. Go at it! Have fun!
(Side note: I do think Katimavik is really cool, and I know people who have done it who had an awesome time and really felt like they helped people. This post in no way is meant to bash that volunteer experience, only the way that Katimavik is marketing this year)

i did katimavik (thanks for the little side note lisa, i appreciate it) and i just want to say that the people who do katimavik are either WAY cooler than that (i.e. me) or WAY more boring than that (i.e. there were some people in my group who seemed too boring to live)
so i can see why they would want to spice it up a bit. but i agree, ridiculous. but there was definitely a shy orange pant dude in my group, so that's actually accurate.
